Hello all!

I just got a new DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR board and notice that the power connector is of the 24pin variety!

Does this mean my 20pin PSU is finished?.....or is there some way to use it?.....I have heard there may be an Adapter or summit?

Or will it still just plug in there regardless of the extra 4 pins?

Why do they keep changing things.........Grrrrrrrrrr!!!

if its like the Asus A8N SLI the 20pin will work with the 24pin as long as you have the extra 4pin ATX adapter plugged in.. the 20pin is keyed to fit the 24pin.

That is correct. When I got my Ultra D fortunately I had a 24-pin psu that I had been using on a 20-pin motherboard. The psu came with an adapter for connecting to a 20-pin connection which worked OK. But I have been told that it does not work well, or not at all, the other way around. For awhile you could get a 20 to 24-pin adapter, maybe you still can but I would play it safe and go ahead and get a 24-pin psu.
