The last day is always a tough one, I had alot of stuff I needed to grab, but the place closes at 4. The first thing me and John did is run to the Quake4 booth to get some movie. Sadly, they did not allow it. We still waiting in line however.
10 minutes go by.
20...

60...
After 70 minutes pass, we ask a rep how much longer it will be. Over 1 more hour he said. Meh, we said forget it and left. Still wish I could of seen it though.

Even with the bad news of not being able to see Quake4, I still got some good stuff.

For the last 2 days I have been trying my best to locate Tim Sweeney. One thing's for sure, he is a busy man. I probably talked to at least 15 people trying to locate him. I pretty much gave up all hope but I decided to swing by the UT2007 booth one more time.. and low and behold. There he was. He only had 6 minutes, so I quickly got his signature and had an interview in this forum.
If you haven't seen it yet, check out the end of the interview... he says something that may be interesting to the NV fan's that are looking forward to the G70 chip.

I also had an interview with one of the Ageia physics guys, and I actually got to hold on of those bad boys in my hand :) Did you guys know that Ghost Reacon 3 is gonna have support for the PPU? They also said they are working with the Speedtree guys. Me and Rob should have that interview up shortly.

Anyways, here are some pics for the final day!

This is a UE3 Powered game called "Huxley" The graphics are fantastic, and it was descriped as an MMOFPS. Those rarely are successful, so we will se how this one turns out.

Here is the "Gun" booth. Funny thing about this booth is they really give no information on the game at all. Except it exists. meh

Here is the Quake4 line that we were waiting in for ages.

Here is the upcoming Rainbow Six game, sadly they did not have the PC version on display, but the Xbox version looks fantastic. Very smooth, realistic Ironsights, looks to be shaping up nicely. But why don't your teamates wear helmets? Seemed very strange to me...

This really awesome flash drive that the Ageia guys gave me :) It comes complete with Press material, demo's, pictures, upcoming games, etc.

Is that another molex connector on the physics card?
I didn't know they were going to have a fan. Did they have any PCI versions of the physics cards and/or mention and performance difference between PCI and PCI Express versions?

Nice job all round guys! Got more usefull information out of this site than IGN and Gamespot combined :D

Yes, I actually asked him the performance difference when going from PCI to PCIe. He said its huge. According to him the PPU pushes ALOT of bandwith. I should have the little meeting with the PPU guy up later today.

He also said that the molex connector will probably not be on the final version.

Heres a few more facts from the interview...
-No use yet for anything other than gaming (may add in future)
-the card will start shipping in December
-may be integrated in graphics cards in the future
-$249-$300 intro price
-only 1 model at launch
-games will eventually require hardware based card
-the cards bandwith exceeds that which can be put through a PCI bus
-the PCI and PCIe cards will be seperate
-Ghost Reacon 3 will take advantage of the PPU

Hmm if it was maybe $50-$100 I'd consider paying for a physics card. For $250-$300 these guys are out of their minds.

Hey Jak have you sniffed anything about Painkiller 2 ??

WorthPlaying are reporting that :
During an E3 presentation, our ever-attentive ears caught the most interesting piece of information. During the Painkiller Xbox demo it was revealed to us that People Can Fly is already working on a sequel to Painkiller -- not an expansion pack, like Battle Out Of Hell, but a full-blown follow-up title. No further information or tentative release date were mentioned.
