Dallas Mavericks - Fan till the end

well, the season has come to a close for my squad. they had a very valiant effort, but in the end, they lost focus just for a moment, and thats all the Suns needed to advance to the western conference finals. Dirk is a great player, and Dallas has a great group of guys. But they need the offense to have Dirk as the #1 option. things have changed since Avery took the coach chair, and Dirk is still learning to adjust.

it was a great run.. a better run than last year when they had steve nash... without him they are a better team.

Good effort from the Mavs. I kind of keep track of them since Mark C is an IU grad...I like to see IU guys lose most of the time. :D But was pulling for them over Phoenix.

They just couldn't get the stops at the end they needed.

Good game regardless, Nash and Marion played brilliantly.

I don't know about saying they are a better team w/ out nash. You forget that three years ago they made it to the western finals with nash (but lost to san freaken antonio). I do think nash fits better with the suns than the mavs, but i don't think you can say that the mavs wouldn't have benefited from him. It's just that no one saw a season like this coming from Nash so they gave him up - and it hurt them bigtime.
