View Full Version : NVIDIA Solaris Drivers, huh?
Does NVIDIA even officially/publicly support the Solaris Operating System? There is unofficial evidence to suggest NVIDIA Corporation may be in the process of supporting this Operating System on the x86 architecure by peeking into the NVIDIA Settings source code. Is there an official press release or anything else about this?
The following press release appeared on October 12, 2004. NVIDIA is obviously close to releasing drivers for this platform, hence the forum.

What about FreeBSD and Mac OS X?
FreeBSD: this way (http://www.nvidia.com/object/freebsd_1.0-7174.html) (for IA32)
MacOS X: I don't know much about Macs, but I know that you need a the "Mac"-Version of the "GeForce" Cards, but I don't know where to get them..
EDIT: anyway, I've now Solaris, but when'll be the drivers ready?
