Hi,

I was wondering what the difference is in between the nForce linux drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=linux_nforce_1.0-0236)
and the regular linux drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=linux)

I have a GeForce4 440 Go 64mb

Thanks!

The "normal" nvidia drivers provide 2d/3d support (just video drivers). The nforce drivers provide sound and network support for nforce motherboards.

The nForce drivers are for the nForce motherboard chipset. The "regular" drivers are for nVidia's video cards.

You don't have an nForce based motherboard, so you can pretty safely ignore the nForce drivers.
