Question:

Using the dfi ultra-d where the chipset is right below the card.

I ran RTHDRBL for like 3 hours and my core temp reaches about 75C but my ambient temp was 63C  !!!

I just installed an NV5 rev. 2 today.

Funny thing is my chipset doesn't go over 50C no matter what! So where is the probe for the ambient temp on the evga 6800 ultra pci-e?

I'm thinking it my be opposite the core on the otherside of the card... and now, due to design of the nv5 rev.2 it may be covered with a rubber cushion .....

CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT ON THIS AND EXPLAIN WHY AMBIENT FOR MY CARD IS SOOO HOT??? drivers =71.89

i wouldnt worry about your ambient temps, as long as your load temps are in check, which they seem to be
