Emule for full albums, kazaalite for individual mp3's.

kazaa lite is pretty good. none of that adware bull****, and its simple.

audiogalaxy was the best in terms of variety...
but even it had its share of problems of finding quality music. i downloaded many "192kbps" MP3s that sounded like they were encoded at 64kbps or 96kbps. they probably actually were, and were just re-encoded by some idiot into a higher bitrate that doesn't understand that doing that doesn't help. or worse, someone who knows that and did it anyway to screw other people :(

IRC does rock! No p2p has it all like IRC does. p2p's just make some things simpler.

Usenet = newsgroups.
Go look for a warez website. Take that general quality and make it 50 times worse. Now, throw in some actual nuggets of stuff.
Boom, Usenet. :p

Gnucleus is far superior to WinMX. Other file sharing apps have used the source code of Gnucleus (since its open source) and used it and made some little changes and boom made their own rip off file sharing client. Its much better than anything else...
