Quite clever actually.

There are many people like me who prefer a continuous upgrade cycle rather than a leap-forward process.

The reasons are mainly economical. I don't feel like spending more than 300 bucks at once for a toy

It's interesting to me that the heat sink appears to be a heat pipe. In the PCI-Express position, the GPU faces the non-standard direction; this means the MSI heat pipe has to be reversable: an engineering coup.
