NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400 and Linux

In reading the driver documentation for the FX 1400 Chipset, I see that the Linux IA32 driver set appears to support the 1400 but the IA64 driver set does not. Does anyone know if this will change in the near future to support the 64 bit OS or am I reading the documentation incorrectly? I have HP XW8200 workstations with the Quadro FX 1400 video card. I am going to run Enterprise Linux version 3 Update #4.

The 1.0-5336 NVIDIA graphics driver for Linux/ia64 does not support the Quadro FX 1400. Current Linux/x86-64 driver releases, designed for use with amd64 and em64t systems, do support it. To the best of my knowledge, the HP xw8200 workstation is equipped with (an) em64t Xeon processor(s).
