I recently purchased a new computer with a MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E. The CPU and motherboard is an Athlon 64 3200+ on a GIGABYTE GA-K8NXP-SLI. All the latest drivers have been installed. DirectX version is 9.0c.
One of the games that I play a lot is a 2D based game called CosmicRift. Compared to my old machine(an Athlon Thunderbird 1.4Ghz with a Kyro2 video card), the game is quite jerky. Just a note, the game was being runned at 1920x1440 on both machines.
Are there any additional tweaks for the 2D on the 6800GT? The ingame options didn't help at all. The only option with the MSI software was to overclock the 2D core(doesn't help).
