Hi guys
Am in the process of building a new system and, as a temporary measure, I have to roll back my video card from a 6800GT to a FX5900.
It's been awhile since I used the FX5900, so can any of yu tell me best drivers to use with XP Pro, P4 2.8 and 1gb of DRRSDRAM

Another dumb ass question.....in my new system I will be using a 6800GT PCIE card. I assume the latest offical driver 71.89 will be ok with my PCIE card ??
Will the 71.89 be ok with the 5900 or are there better drivers suited ?? I read somewhere the 56.72 work well with the 5900

cheers

I have a 5950 Ultra and I am using the 76.45b Extreme G HD drivers over at tweaksrus. Of course, you can use the official 71.89 driver.

Does Windows Media Player work with the Xtreme G's? With standard 76.45's it's borked on my pc.

I'm still using the 61.77's right now. I've been going by the cliche of if it's not broken don't fix it, but I was just wondering if updating to the newest drivers will help out with improving my frame rates. :c
