Oh, did I mention that it was good? There was only about 30 people in the entire theatre. My only complaint is that they showed it in the crappier of the 2 theatres in town. GRRRR:mad: Did it deter me in the slightest? Nay, sirs and madams, nay. My you see this epic tale in the original theatrical completness. It is the only way. By the by. How many of you have seen the film? What did you think about it?

I was thinking about seeing it tonight, but was turned off by some of the reviews I read on Rotten Tomatoes. I saw "About Schmidt" instead, which was a good movie, made more entertaining because it was filmed in my hometown.

The reviews over here said 28 days later was terrible, but all I have heard is praise about it from everyone else:cool:

I might go see it later this week after I see the Two Towers.

I remember reading a summary of the script a while back and it sounds really bad. :( Hopefully it's at least better than insurrection. Even Star Trek 5 was better than that one.

New York Times said it was pretty good.

Don't believe the reviews that /. posts. ;)

I throughly enjoyed Nemesis... it had a few faults, but they were all minor in my book. Can't wait to see it again after I see TTT :D

You thought the faults were "few" and "minor"??? Sheesh. This movie was lame. There hasn't been a decent Trek film since VI, though First Contact wasn't horrible.

Then what are these "lame" problems then?

I wouldn't mind seeing 8 Mile, but Star Trek was playing so, gee. I wonder which one I'm spending my 7 bucks on. :D I still say go see this film. If not, at least rent it. (Or download it  )

I would have seen it, but I've got limited funds and LOTR: The Two Towers is much more appealing to me.

After the initial onslaught of dim-viewed reviews that looked at the entire franchise as a whole instead of the actual movie... the Rotten Tomato scores have been going up. Exit polls from audience views are much higher then you'd expect if you look at the reviews.

In short, I don't need someone else to tell me what a good movie is ;)

Well, I guess it's good that at least one person thought it was worth paying to see. Unfortunately, I'm not in that category, as much as I wanted to love the film.

As for the Harry Knowles thing, I don't think he's a stupid ****er, but as with any reviewer it's opinion + grain of salt. If anyone cares (I don't blame you if you don't), here's a review of Nemesis by my favourite, and very like-minded, reviewer:
