Splinter Cell : PT

I really not like Splinter Cell: PT. I have lost saved games and can't recover them. And i got to like the 4th Level. The problem is my computer freezes up when i start the game and i turn the computer off the hard way and start it back up and start the game up and my save name is gone. When i try to enter the same name it say that name is used already. Is there anyway to recover the saved game?

Hmm try checking your savegames folder (could be located in documents & settings dir). if the file is there try changing its name & see what happens. generally though its unlikely possible to recover it.
