If you liked Daoc, this could be a HUGE HIT with Sci Fi fans. I'm looking into it heavy. I think they learned from the mistakes of Daoc and will use that knowledge to kick out a real good game. I was pretty heavy into Daoc until EQ2.but that didnt last long and now waiting for DDO and this. Hopefully my time put into Daoc will get me into Beta :)

You mean SWG2? Sorry saw this game at E3 and it looked like crap and just screamed "borrowed" look from SWG.

Really? Wow that sucks. From all the video clips and pictures it looked different. I guess the storyline was different as well, Romans in the future..hmmm guess I got my hopes up too high from Mythic :(

Well don't know about the story but the gameplay and look/feel of the game screamed SWG knockoff. The HUD looked almost identical, I basically sayed "Hey look SWG, Oh nm..." when I first walked past it.

i'm looking forward to this game. i'm an ancient greco-roman history enthusiast. this game should be interesting.

I also am a history nut and can't wait to see what they did with the romans et al. Game won't be out for a while so i personally don't expect to see anything solid on it for a while.
