Clay doesn't use Asus though. At least, in his sig. At least we know who it ISN'T though so that kinda narrows it down :D

I don't know of NVIDIA ever giving free product to employees. NVIDIA didn't offer even an employee discount on graphics cards until 2001, and never has offered employee discount on xBox. NVIDIA employees at conferences where a card is given to each attendee are asked to give the cards back to the company. Does this sound like a company that will give a 7800 to each employee?

Never happened. Never will.

That's his AGP motherboard, the one he's trying to sell. I'm guessing he's building a new PCIe system, if he got that 7800.

Though he's not exactly from nvnews, I'm sure it's Ronin (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/member.php?find=lastposter&t=46724).

Yep. I'm pretty sure it's Ronin. Check his sig:

He has both the ballistix and the A8N SLI and he's a forum admin at http://forums.nvidia.com/ .

And just see what he has for his home page (http://server.counter-strike.net/). ;)

He says he works for ATi and NV, but wont say in what capacity. He has shown a pic of his video cards. They are in school like cuby holes, and he has a hundered or so. I think its the real deal, he posts primarily on nvnews, and anand.

I wanna knw, if this guy is frm nvnews, then how come those pix werent posted here first..? how come they reached B3D?

Ronin isn't a staff member is he? His last activity was on 5/29 and he has less than 100 posts.

if the pic is real, i think the core will be much much higher than the 430Mhz rumor..
dare i start a rumor of my own saying 600Mhz core? :)

I found this also..

Thats a Tt Shark case ... i did use the same way of attaching fans on the side plate to cool the SLI cards down.
maybe he is testing the SLI capability too ? .. nah i dont think so .. theres only one 7800 in those pics.

hmm if we assume 600Mhz core clock .. the fillrate will be 14.4Gp/s!

EDIT : there are more interesting stuff (http://server.counter-strike.net/images/misc/woah.jpg) in that server than i'd imagine :naughty:

whatever they use for stock core clocks, 720 is awesome!

Only problem seems to be the fan listed in his sig.. it's not the stealth seen in the pics.

Oh oh me me :)
I wasnt expecting 700+mhz, but damn a 24pipe card at that speed is going to own everything.
