That's the splash page on the top of Gainwards website:

http://www.gainward.de/new/main.html

Is this graphics producer trying to tell us something and what do you think that may be? The 11 days alternates with an nVIDIA logo. ;)

Has Nvidia mentioned anything yet? This might be another paper-launch if they don't say anything until then.

I don't think anything has been said by nvidia but the rumors are saying that they'll be available the day they launch. I'm hoping so but not holding my breath.

The 7800 will for certain not be available the day nvidia launches it because board manufactures cannot ship their products to the stores before nvidia has officially announced them.

This means that Gainward, ASUS and co will maybe start shipping their cards starting the day of the release launch and therefore it will take at least one week before the cards hit the stores for real. However most probably it will take 2-3 weeks for the cards to arrive in most places. If everything goes well the 7800 might be available in good quantities worldwide end of July but I doubt even that seriously.

I believe you meant to say "Geforce 7".

Anyway, could Gainward make it anyhow more obvious?

Down to 9 days now. :)

I'm hoping for immediate availability of the cards, myself. I only hope the cards won't cost any more than 600 USD.

I meant 6 and I asked that cause this thread is on the geforce 6 series graphics card forum, it should be moved to hardware rumours mill or something.

It should be related to G70 but why announcing gainward's G70 lineup one day before G70 official launch?

I was intending that it would be a paper launch because they would not be shipping the cards until then when they make the first announcement. The other way to do it would have been for them to say 2-3 weeks ago that something would happen in 3 weeks and details will follow. This enable them to have the cards available at retail for launch day. Now, there will definitely be at least a week's wait in theory and then more for the big demand boom there will be when it hits.

....

nVidia has made some 3-way arrangements with online retailers and AIB partners to have the cards available on launch day.
