Interesting additions! but of course we need to see how it performs first.
each card will be doing full 16xAA. This may also give us a glimpse into the future as each generation graphics cards continue to increase in power. Doing full 16xAA on each card means we could see this order of AA running on a single card in a generation or so.
the 16xAA mode should be 7800 ready
Holly S*** I think ATI got owned big time. (naw)

Current 6800 cards can already do 16xSS with rivatuner. Of course performance is another thing. I found it to be useable at 1024x768 in Ut2k4.
its 2x2 (4x) SSAA + 4x MSAA..
the old 16xS mode like mentioned.. can be applied to Profiles with nHancer for example..
Can be seen here with examples:

no where on that said anything about ATI's Crossfire. That means ATI is enabling 10x and 14x aa to a single card. The only card capable of reaching that in games like Far Cry, Doom3, or HL2, would be the X800/850 XT. Still Nvidia is pitting two card against one. One very powerfull one though ;)
I think AA was invented to slow your new card down enough to make you buy a newer one. It's a vicious cycle.

You're going to be really disappointed if you think R520 will support 10x or 14x AA on a single card.
