If so, precedence was already established and this matter would be completely moot.

The champs lge is for champs and top finishers in domestic competition. But since 'Pool won the CHAMPS lge, are they not themselves champs :D

Obviously I am a reds fan but I know they didn't deserve to get in on the basis of their showing the premier lge. However because they won the most prestigious cup in europe it is only fitting they should be allowed to defend.
