I usually wouldn't consider a LCD monitor, but...
Long story short, I may be able to get a brand new 20" Apple Cinema Display for about 150 euro :D
Now, there are a couple of things that I worry about.
First off, it has a nice 16:10 ratio, and this is puzzling me. Since most games don't support 16:10 resolutions, how will it work ? Will it stretch the 4:3 resolutions horizzontally to fully fit the display, or will it simply use the central part of the screen, leaving two blank spaces on the left and right of the image ?
Then, what about the fact that I won't prolly be able to play at 1680x1050, given my little 6600GT ? How will the image quality be at, say, 1024x640 or 1280x800 (or 1024x768, provided it wouldn't strech it) ?
Thank you very much,
lightman
