I also heard that 7800 3Dmark'05 score, but I think it's bogus. The 7800 number has nothing to do with the benchmark score of the card. I'm guessing that the score for a top-end system with a 7800 GTX non-SLI in 3DMark '05 will be somewhere around 10000. It may be a little higher or lower, but we won't know what it will be until the benchmarks are officially released. There are those who know the performance of the card but are bound by their NDAs with Nvidia. However, I'm more concerned how the card will perform in real games than 3DMark scores.

Well if its true it's a bit dissapointing, but I heared other voices..But I am more interested in game scores, like Far Cry with HDR, Splintercell CT etc .

Btw, my XFX6800 Ultra is already scoring close to 6000 (runnin 425/1200)
A 24 piped 7800gtx should at last have 50% more fillrate and shaderpower simple based on it's clockrate and pipelinestructure if it has the same efficieny and that probably bring us a score arround about high 8000 I guess 8800 And it's likely the 7800 has optimized shaderengines so I would rather expect a low 9000 range score (assuming the faster card will not make your rig cpu limited!!! but then we have to make eyecandy comparisons ;) )..but w'll see.

Yea I agree. Really, there is no evidence to this, and my dual 6800 Ultras get about 10,500. Saying dual 7800GTX's will get the same is saying that a 7800GTX is no better.
