Does anyone know how to get rid of this damn aurora spyware by the ABI networks? Ive used ad-aware, microsoft anti-spyware, and spybot on safe mode to try and get rid of it. It seems to delete some files but doesnt get rid of this damn pest entirely which reinstalls itself on reboot. Of course I can always DL the uninstaller, but i read somewhere that the uninstaller (which is from the same company that made the spyware in the first place) contains malware. What it does is install another program on ur comp just so u wont get pop-ups. WTF is that? Shouldnt an uninstaller just delete the program? If anyone knows how to get rid of it, i'll be really grateful.

I got nailed with this crap a few weeks ago and had no luck killing it. I'd give anything to have 10 minutes of quality time with the person that programmed this one, course I'd bring a blowtorch and pliers to the party. I haunt the forums at dslreports and it seems Aurora is one of the nastiest things out there right now - damn near impossible to get rid of. There might be some good advice out there now, but at the time I couldn't find anything useful. Good luck trying, but I ended up reformatting
