It's kinda crazy, because Edonkey now connects to Overnet and Emule connects to the Edonkey network. I'd use Emule over Edonkey. Be warned, however, that both those networks are kinda slow.

i did. i still don't get what this usenet is. all i got from google is 'google groups' and that some people want to start a usenet 2... is usenet a forum? what's the newsgroup addy i would enter into my newsreader client(outlook express)?
