Forgotten when they were released, will amend later.
Bottom line, these drivers rock! I haven't played BF2 so don't know if whatever bug is or isn't fixed. cake.

OMG awesome!!! ty so much I've been waiting for new x64 drivers. Don't really have any problems with 76.80 but everyone seems to be happy with 77 series now. w00t I will use these with the new nForce set.

**edit** these didnt want to install, there is no installer with them, you have to old school force them onto windows through the device manager

That really an issue? If someone downloads a driver and all they see is an inf file and no .exe files and don't know what to do, they shouldn't be using Windows x64, it is for more advanced users only at this stage.

Just checkin' ;D

I would actually prefer it if they didn't have installers. Though it does leave the impression that the drivers aren't really 'complete'.

this set is absolutly amazing HDR performance in farcry nearly doubled and I can ALMOST pull off 8xS in CS:S with vsync and it DID run fine with vsync off. Doom3 was butter smooth as always and even more so with tertsi's 3mood mod. IQ in all the games were stunning to say the least. Im gonna have to install some more games for this set :)

Seems pretty good for BF2. The shadow bug doesnt seem so extreme anymore. Before randomly it would look like half the screen would be cast in shadow when a plane flew overhead, but now that seems to be gone. There is still quite a lot of shadow flickering though.

whats the date on these?

Doom3 2xFSAA Problem from the 66.80 Forceware is fixed
BF2 works without Shadowproblem ( the included SLI Profile is horrible...Stuttering)

They still have the doom3 ambient light problem though :(

06-16-05, 08:37 PM
still have the direct 3d hanging problem too

06-18-05, 12:55 AM
I've been doing some thinking and the hanging problem could be an issue with detection of direct3d as opposed to running 2d. After a (random) short pause, the game runs a lot slower, which makes me wonder if the card is throttling down to 2d speeds.

This does not happen in opengl software

Do these have the 7800GTX listed in the .inf file?

As my first driver for Windows x64 I think these are great but I havent had much time with them. No problems as of yet though!

Anyone tried this with Geforce2 MX? Is it supported? Can't find it in the .inf
