how do i get a Windows Media Audio/Video file, that opens with window's media player, burned onto a cd/cd-rw, in order to have a video cd of the movie. if i am using roxio easy cd creator basic??? or do i need to upgrade my roxio easy cd creator version and spend the $69.00??

Its been so long since I've used ecdc 4 but does it not allow you to create video cds using .wmv files? If not, you may wanna try nero, which IMHO is better than any bloated adaptec burning software anyways.

True adaptec sucks. Have you tried www.vcdhelp.com ? I've used tmpeng or something like that to convert to vcd. Haven't heard good things about Nero's vcd encoding.
