View Full Version : Ram CL setting quick question
I have a Kingmax 2.5-4-4-8 t2 overclock to 2.5-3-3-6 t1
I can go a (LITTLE) more, what should I set next? Should it be
2.0 3 3 6 t2
or
2.5 2 2 6 t1
or
2.5 2 2 5 t2
which is faster for games?
Thank you.
ps. BF2 run much greater when you turn your head quickly!
My god, I never thought my ram can go cl2
right now i'm at cl2-3-3-6
next I'm gonna try cl2-3-2-6 t1

i would say that whatever your best timings are with the command rate of 1T, do that

I agree with zoomy. 2-3-2-6 1t sounds good.
You can also try 2-2-2-6 1t...
Either of these two are probably best.
Thanks. I think I'm stuck with that number. can't go anymore. So I might have to pull some number back to sacrifice for the t1. What would that be.
2-3-4-6 t1 or
2-4-3-6 t1
it depends, if you're on an nforce2 board, actually having a timing of 11 at the end is optimal for performance because of the memory controller.
right now i'm running at 250mhz @ 2.5-6-6-11. it's crap timings, i know -- i'm going to try and work on this.

I dunno, last time I read that, ppl said it helped synthetic bandwidth tests, but in reality didn't make any difference. Some ppl even said it made things more jerky.
I tried all the numbers, it didn't' work. so, it leave me with the last 2 number to choose from; which is better?
2.0 3 3 6 t2
or
2.5 3 2 6 t1
Thank you all!
I'm on VIA chipset.

Are you sure? 11 seems too high if you ask anybody.
