Its Asus official site here (http://www.asus.com.tw/products4.aspx?l1=2&l2=6&l3=198&model=546&modelmenu=1)
and it scores 7930.
They also mention a core clock of 470MHz

On the specs page.

It looks to me like quite a few board partners are going all out. Asus is going with 470/1.2 where BFG is 460/1.3. So far the BFG cards looks the best. The 7800GTX needs more bandwidth, not fill rate.

Thank you. Sometimes I don't see the obvious.

Yes it looks like that nVidia give they board partners control over the clockrates and the ram.

I think clock rates have always been up to the partners but it looks that this time yields and overclockability are great. :)

Almost a 8000 score is pretty dang good. :D
What does a X850XTPE score? 6500?

I'm glad to see these core clocks coming up
from the 430 everyone was talking about.

To me the BFG with the 460 core and 1.3 memory
will be top dawg.
We need more bandwidth. I hope to see
someone slap some 1.4 on one. :D

Personally, I like the BFG 7800GTX OC.

They've removed the spec. page from their website, but AthlonXP1800 saved it and sent it to me. I've uploaded the spec. page here:

BFG 7800GTX OC (http://www.thepyromania.com/bfg/7800GTX_256_PCIX.html)

Core: 460MHz
Mem: 1300MHz.

I think the 100MHz memory OC on the BFG 7800GTX OC will go a long way.

Here is the BFG page someone saved before it was pulled down.

There was a huge thread about this here. But eVGA got the forum mods to delete the whole thread. You probably missed that too, eh? :p (popcorn)
