wel, it all depends.. are you running windows server? if so, which one? 2000? 2000 advanced server? 2003? it all depends.

when you say API.. what are you lookin' for? there isnt an API for clustering. its a service beuilt into the modern servers. you can sort-of cluster a winxp box, if you haev 2 mics, but its not a true cluster. just a half-as*ed load balance.

i love clustering so ask away :)
