By looking at the leaked specs, seems that 6800 Ultra and 7800 GTX has the same features, same bandwidth, and the only difference is 8 additional pixel pipes and 2 additional vertex pipes. Having that it's gonna push the games faster, especially with HDR enabled.
Really  here :
Is there gonna be AGP version?
$600-$700 seems way too much...
Not only does it have more pipes, but each pipe will be alot more powerful too. I've heard they've analysed the most common instructions used in games and made those instructions faster. It will have more bandwidth due to higher clocked memory. The GPU is also running at a much higher speed too.

My screen supports the max resolution of 1280*1024, but the most people are running 1024*768.
Can't wait for reviews. I will wait till r520 and maybe NVIDIA's counter part. :)

Mine too, no one will buy a 68 for 800x600 or 1024xXXX
I will wait till r520
Me too, pro'lly till wgf 2.0 cards.
I thought r520 was going to be wgf 1.0 ?
Regardless, I too will wait it out and see what the other guys have to bring to the table, and if they can bring it all the way to the table without dropping it like last gen. If the official r520 specs are impressive, but yields suck, i'm going nvidia. I have paitents, but only so much. =)

It will be WGF1.0.
I meant the GF8xxx and r6xx
The price better go down fast I dont think ill be spending that much on a dang video card, I spent once and only once $500 and thats the most I would ever spend.
Speed. Pixel pushing power. Thats about it.
Also WGF 1.0 = DX9c

Try running BF2 multiplayer on an FX card at anything higher than lowest details @ 800 x 600. It's slow as hell. I just bought a brand new PNY 6800 vanilla for $159. I'm hoping at least 60 FPS @ medium details/1024x768 (85Hz)/No AA AF.
I imagine around this time next year I'll be able to get a 7800 vanilla for the same price. :afro:
