impressive they have the card in stock, would of been great if the card itself was as impressive as the 6800 series is/was at its launch.

U SUX! :p :p :p

Enjoy that bad boy man.
I would LOVE to have the funds
to order one tonight. :)

But the one I want is not FS yet.
I'm getting the BFG when
I get one.
Maybe I'll just wait for a GT.
Or maybe till they release the ultra.
That way it will be much cheaper. :o

That's for sure.

I was really hoping these 7800's would be 499.00 at most.
Every year they go up 100 more bucks on us.
400 is my limit on one card. I just cannot see putting
over 400 bucks in ANY part that will be outdated
in 6 to 12 months.

Yes. With 460 core clock and 1300 memory.
That's what I'm getting. :D

This is a better performing card though at 599US then the 699US Geforce 6800 Ultra 512MB. Guess this price point was coming as the MSRP of the X850 XT PE was 549US or so?

I would too. The 1300MHz memory is very enticing. :)

The newegg pages on the three 7800GTX cards they listed didn't have good info on the cards themselves. They listed neither the core speeds, nor the memory speeds of the cards.

Also, I am also a bit disappointed with Leadtek for not coming out with a 'cooler, quieter custom designed heatsink' for their 7800GTX card. They never promised such a card, so I can't really blame them here. I guess I'll get a BFG 7800GTX, then. :)

I think what they did was turn on the page for them so last night the 21st a the LAN 2.0 and launch party people could order them after NVIDIA introduced them. So certian internet resellers had to turn on pages so orders could be placed. They then turned of the pages after a period of time and they will come back up after the NDA is up this morning.

I was told in my briefing that you would be able to go online at the event and order them there.
