When I bought my 6800Ultra SLI setup about 5 months ago, the 512MB card just came out after I recieved my 2 256mb cards. I'm not going to jump on the 7800's yet until the 512mb cards come out. This time when i do SLI there be with 2 x 512MB cards. I'm just going to sit tight and wait, It should be worth it.

Too much money i guess. I'd be happy if i could replace my R9600 XTR with GF6600GT. GF6800GT is miles away, not to mention any Sli mode...
But still i can run pretty much all games at very high details :D

NO, what I mean is, to justify spending 1200.00 (SLI OF COURSE) each of these cards should have 512MB ram, not 256MB, and the performance difference should be like going from my fx5900U to a 6800U, but it doesnt seem like it is from all the articals i've read. Yes, if you game @ 1600x1200 with aa&af MAXED, then this would be a "GOOD" not "GREAT" upgrade. I will more than likely go ATI crossfire on my next "SLI", or see what the prices will be for the NEXT GEN 7800GTX's w/ 512MB DDR3...... I just can't justify spending this much for a 15-20% improvment.
