Im currently using 1GB (2x 512mb) G.Skill PC4400. It is running @ 261FSB with a 1:1 ratio (great ram) I also just found my 2x1GB sticks of Patriot ram PC3200 (nothing special really) Is it better to have 1GB (dual channel) of FAST ram, or use 2GB of ram, and use a divider to keep my OC, but at the same rate this ram is slower. Any help is great, Im bored and need something to do. If using 2gb would be worth it, here is my current OC settings, can you help select how to set it up to use the proper divider?
FX-55 / FSB=261mhz / HTT=3x / RAM=1:1 / DDR v = 2.65 / total system = 2871MHz. Now if I try the 2x1GB sticks what would I change to keep this RAM under 210MHz? My divider options are: 200 / 180 / 166 / 133 / 100 I think? I think that 180 divider is good to have. I thought I could do this, but I get really confused. Thanks a million,

It will be slower but in newer games it will peform better due to less caching needed to be done. I am looking into getting 2GB myself never thought possible but more and more programs are getting greedy with memory.
