Hi there,

I am just about to format my PC, but looking at the BETA 6.37 driver, the RAID tool is 3 Meg. It is more than the Floppy Disk can store. In the Official 5.**Forceware driver the Raid tool is only 836k. So it was possible to install.

But how do I install the RAID from these new BETA drivers?

Would appreciate any help.

MSI K8N NEO2 nForce 3 ULTRA CHIPSET MOTHERBOARD.

thanks

Need help ASAP, cos am about to format PC and this is holding me up.

Hi! From my experience, you don't need to have the RAID tool on the floppy at all, just the drivers. Copy the contents of the "IDE/WinXP" directory without the "raidtool" subdir, this is enough for the Windows installer to set up the RAID controller. Remeber to install both the RAID and "storage class" or sth. (sorry if I'm stating the obvious). Then run the FW setup after OS install to set up the remaining stuff.
