The SDK have a 2.4GHz Cell processor and 550MHz RSX GPU, both are the same one will use in PS3. :D

It great to see Sony have finished Cell CPU and RSX GPU in developer machines. It shame to see Microsoft still not have finished their triple PowerPC CPUs and R500 Xenos GPU in developer machines but they instead use slower dual G5 CPUs and Radeon 9800 Pro card. I think Microsoft will have teething problems to convert the games from developer machines to the Xbox 360.

Wow that amazing, Sony updated PS3 spec from 2.4GHz to 3.2GHz but the developer machine remain the same. Maybe in a few months Sony could upgrade RSX clock speed from 550MHz to 650MHz. :D

Yes the developer machine is real, it huge as original PS2 developer machine 5 years ago.

Really? Is there any article on that PS2 dev machine? Would have liked to see how it looked like :D

Oh btw, i'm pretty sure some Xbox users are pretty pissed there's another "forklift" console (even in dev mode that's ok) other than theirs. They lost a first there :p
