Hardware/Voltage monitor for GFX5700

Hi all,
I have an GFX5700 and I'm reciving a warning message from the driver saying that my video is not receiving enough power.
This happens sometimes when a cable is moved, you know, open case :D

I wonder if there is a tool for monitoring the voltage/power the video card is receiving.

I've seen that message appear when my 5700U/5800U/5900U cards are overheating, even while they have plenty of power. Do you have a DDR3 or DDR-II version of the 5700U? The DDR-II runs MUCH hotter.

Its a evga 5700 Ultra, so I thinks its a DDR2.
I don't have the coolest case. It may be a heat issue?

Yes, it's possible, maybe even likely, that you have that driver warning from high heat, and not low power.

I got rid of the "insufficient power" warning on a friend's machine last summer by opening his bad-airflow case and aiming a room fan into it. His 430W Antec PSU was fine. It was exclusively heat that caused the drivers to give that warning to him.

Confirmed, this message is triggered by so called SLOWDOWN GPIO pin, which is used for detecting both external power present and thermal alert conditions. SYo you may see "not enought power" message when external power is not connected, as well as when thermal sensor is reporting alert state (i.e. when the temeprature is beyond the limits programmed in sensor).

I now I can read it in the driver config window, but something like
Asus PCProbe will help(an history chart) ;)
