Yup pelly is on the money there. I wouldnt say it is worth it myself, its a lot cheaper to just build your own :)
Thanks for the replies. :)
However, Alienware PCs are basically like home-built PCs, right? They are just as upgradale/expandable?
By the way, which brand of RAM do they use?

build your own.
believe me, it's worth the hassle for that moment when the PC first posts.
best feeling in the world.... well, maybe not. but, it's still pretty damn good. ;)

Kain> If you really like the alienware computers just check there website. Then mimic there use of components and you will have your very own alienware computer (different color tho) and you will have saved quite alot of money.
Im pretty sure they list everything that is inside the comp.
The good thing is that youŽll really know that the system setup with those components work good with echother.
:)
you can grab the same parts from pretty much anywhere, and for a lot cheaper too!
check out www.pricewatch.com for prices on all the hardware, and like eci said, just check out alienwares spec list if youre clueless as what to get.
eventually you'll build an exact replica of their system, only it wont have that matching case/monitor/keyboard/mouse scheme that you would otherwise be paying extra for
