View Full Version : Defragmenter program?
ok I have windows xp and have been caching up on some defragmenting that I have been needing to do, well one of my drives haves all my DVD movies, well about 12 of them that I got from my brother when he was last down here. Anyway there about 600MB each and Windows XP can not defragment them (throwpc) My question is eather is there a easy way to do it or can I get a program that will get the ones windows dose not get.

I've used Diskeeper in the past, though I haven't purchased a more recent version which works under winXP.
Some things, such as the MFT and paging file, it needs to do under a "boot time defragmentation", so it's defragmenting them before the system is brought up to a desktop...

perfect disc is okay, the only feature it lacks that keeps me going to diskeeper, is the screensaver mode. I love having a defrag done while the pc is in screensaver mode
