I recently downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia's site so I could play city of heroes. Everything seemed to work out fine, but today when I tried to watch a video with media player, it was SUPER bright. It hurt my eyes just looking at it. So after that I tested divx and winamp, and they get the same video problem. The only thing I could think of is that maybe it has something to do with my old drivers. I didn't remove them, I just installed the new ones, and everything seemed to work okay.

I don't know much about this kind of stuff so I took a pic of my video card info

Help please?

Well at least I know it's not just me. If you find out how to fix it, PLEASE tell me. :(

I recently found out how to fix the problem with the video. It only effects Windows Media Player as far as I know.

First right click the desktop and select properties then settings and then advanced. You then select the tab with the name of your video card. There is a side list where color correction is listed, so click that.

Then tell it to apply color changes to all under the drop down menu. After you do that then create a custom color profile (using advanced not standard) and set everything to default. Make sure to save the profile and then hit apply.
