is there a r9550ee vs fx5700 benchmark review?

I believe he means se. Between the two... its a tough call. The Radeon is about 4 times faster in SM2.0, but the 5700 would be faster in slightly older games that use SM1.x. Plus the Radeon has a 64bit memory bus. This is the one and only time I'd recommend the FX, neither card is really able to handle newer games.

Ah... stupid me, I should have figured that out :o

And it is a tough one... I cant really recommend either without looking at some compairisons. I'll go look around a little.

EDIT: OK, the FX5700 seems to win hands down according to this article:

They dont have a 9550SE on there, but the 9600SE (64bit mem, probably close to 9550SE performance) is VERY low most of the time. The 5700 manages to stay at a reasonable level of performance for most of the tests.
