I am wondering if any of you have experienced blurring in certain programs.

In that url you can see my limewire window really blurred whilst the taskbar and etc are still okay. What exactly is the problem and what can be done to solve it?

Uninstall Limewire...
No seriously, thats what I ended up doing. I had the exact same problem with Limewire as you describe (among many others). I now use Warez P2P Client (http://www.warezcrawler.net/) and have never looked back.

Well, i've just realised that i have never changed the cleartype settings on my pc and this problem has only started today, a new problem has also come up, whenever i open limewire it doesn't even show at all.. just the window.. lol.

Hello
I noticed the exact same thing happening in my Limewire. I noticed that if you put the mouse over another program in the start bar and a tooltip of it pops up the text in Limewire become clear. But then when you move the mouse off it goes back.
Also Whenever I play a video file from inside limewire and windows media player opens up all I get is audio and no video. When media player is then closed my whole screen goes to like a resoultion of 320x320 and im not able to right click or do anything to change it. So basically I gotta hit the reset button.
The only thing that has changed on my computer in the last week is the latest windows update download for the new version and all the latest critical updates
OS WinXP SP2
vidcard GFX 5900 driver ver 71.89
Any ideas of how to fix this?

To those of you having the problems with limewire in relationship to windows media player, I also had that problem where you would open up media player while limewire is in use, and the resolution of your entire screen blows up to like 320x320. I have previously just installed the latest Nvidia official Drivers 77.72 and with those, that problem was solved, never once get that again. Sounds wierd but it worked for me.
As for the burrr in LimeWire, have no idea how that is fixable. I use Limewire Pro myself, love the speeds and search results and all, but the overall program was just coded poorly or something cuz their are alot of buggs in it....

I just installed the new nvidia drivers 77.72 and the screen resize problem still happens everytime I run media player with limewire open. As soon as I kill the limewire.exe process the screen goes back to normal and works fine.
I actually don't even have to open media player now for the screen to be resized. I just have to have a video file highlighted (Audio files work fine). Im assuming that the preview of the video in the side of windows explorer is what is setting it off.
