ROFLMAO  http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/woot.gif
GO http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/bowdown.gif ATI http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/bowdown2.gif Nvidia got http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/owned.gif
LMFAO!!!
Ask yourself one question. :)
Who would you rather make love to? The FEMALE faerie or the MAN who kills her? ;) :p :D
thats kind of lame, i mean it's cool for anyone of us to make an animation like that and post it to the web... but from a company like Visiontek I would expect more professionalism. And beleive me I'd feel the same exact way if it was the Nvidia Fairy killing the ATI Radeon girl.
I mean I own a Gainward TI4400, but if instead I had bought a Visontek TI4400, I think I might be kind of annoyed right now. Is the statement Visiontek is saying is they wouldn't care about me?
I think they crossed the line here...just like some people at Rage3D. Why do you think they are so violent against others

The fairy is freaking incredible. I think what Visiontek did is unprofessional at the least, but more seriously I think it borders on copyright infringement. What a lame way to sell a graphics card.
(btw, before calling me an nvidiot, realize I'd say the same thing if nVidia advertised its stuff like that).

Wait, people actually liked the extremely lame and brain dead "are you ready" marketing videos, and don't think an obvious joke making fun of such silly marketing is humorous? Crosses the line?
Jesus.
What's Dawn got to do with the "Are you ready" hype? Btw that flash animation is kinda ugly ;) :D
And I agree it's a lame "commercial" (Nvidia's lawyers won't be happy with that ;) )

That was quite lame. What a guy shot the ferrie, whopie ati is better then nvidia. Oh well, its all about performance.

Hehehe come on now..every one thought it was quite a chuckle when you all played the Nvidia flash game and shot the "evil" red chips lol.

Got that right...better than ATI's so called "hype"
It was fun to speculate, share ideas and thoughts. I can't say that about ATI.
Don't tell me Visiontek came up with this idea. Gator made a good point: "...the statement Visiontek is saying is they wouldn't care about me"
I really don't care how nvidia markets their cards. On one thing we (nvidiots) can agree on, it's darn exciting and fun to watch. And You? You just agreed with Visiontek's "statement" that their previous customers can shove it up their asses.

Ah...but thats not the case...they are still honouring the warranties and such for their pre-GFFX customers. I don't see many companies in the same situation doing that.
Going back to the animation - I thought it was freakin' hilarious. The guy on drugs with the big gun made me spill my freakin' coffee when I first saw it.
Oh than that's just means ATI is desperate...Aww I'm so sorry for them. They may be honoring the warranties, but it doesn't mean they will get more customers :)

Jesus H. Christ, the blinders some people wear are just unbelievable.
What does Dawn have to do with the "are you ready" stuff? Well, she showed her freaking face in the videos. Good enough?
And that isn't even the point. Cheesy marketing is cheesy marketing. This VT thing is especially cheesy, low quality flash, and fairly unprofessional to boot. But it is funny.
God forbid someone have a sense of humor. Keep shooting your little "evil red chips" and let other people laugh who do.
I dont see no red chips...Don't ask me, you brought up the "are you ready" stuff up

Think again...its Visiontek's website, not ATIs.
Please get out of your tunnel vision. It was a joke. I would laugh the same if they showed the ATI Radeon girl losing in a cat fight agasint the GFFX nymph or fairy or whatever it is..
I'm sure Visiontek won't have a shortage of customers...they made kickass GF4 products...I'm sure they will be making kickass Radeon based ones too...so don't worry about that.
So what? THEY OWN them, I'm sure it wasn't Visiontek's idea, though they nicely contributed.
EDIT: You don't have to worry about me worrying about them. I'm sure not anymore.

But it is funny
It's funny in your opinion. There's some cheesy marketing that's great, but for a lot of us, this isn't an example. You like it and you're entitled to that opinion, but don't pull this cr@p where because you say it's funny that it's now gospel.

Why am I not surprised to see the knee-jerk reactions to this ad (which I do think is slightly unprofessional but hardly worth having a vehement reaction to)?
