I noticed that the mobo I plan on buying has Dual LAN connections on it, why? Would it be possible to hook-up 2 Cable Modems to this for more bandwith? That would rock! LOL I know, I doubt it, but still, that would be cool. Anyways, just curious as why anyone would need 2 LAN connections...

I used it on my old setup to route internet to a second computer..
cheaper then a router, but it required that my machine was running for the other one to have internet access..

Dunno if you can link up several modems tho..
EDIT: you would prolly need 2 subscriptions, not too cheap..

Well, I already have 2 cable modems and I know if I wanted to use the other one, I'd have to call Cox and give them the MAC number off of it, but it wouldn't cost me any more to use it, so maybe, huh? LOL I don't think the mobo would recognize both IP addresses coming in at the same time. That doesn't seem feasible(sp) to me and even if it did work, not sure it would increase bandwith (double it).
