Wow nice deal. If I were in the market for a case right now this would be the one. I like my window but this case looks to be so nice and quiet...

Damn you Roadhog! I bought a P160 about a month ago... and for over $200 too! (yeah, I'm an idiot... but things usually cost much more in India than they do in the US).

And those noise dampening side panels... ooh I could just about die right now!

I'll try to get over this... this tragedy by telling myself that I don't like cases with doors and what not. And if somebody tells me now that the P180 doesn't have a door, I'll... I'll... I won't believe you!

Yeah that the most advanced case that are the quietest and the coolest temp case. I thought about get one but the white side door are not what I wanted, I wanted the window side door, it probably will coming soon.

Here are Antec P180 product page (http://www.antec.com/uk/productDetails.php?ProdID=09180), also have reviews.

I want this case, but my PSU 20pin and P4 pin won't reach my mobo with that design.
Leca, is that the Corsair Cool Water kit? How are you liking it? Keeping temps nice and cool?

Yep its the Corsair kit, I am very happy with it :)

Temps as typing this:

3000+ Venice @ 2.7Ghz / 1.55v
CPU temp = 24

depending on the day etc it can change, but atm idle temps are sub 30c, and full load is 35-38.

like all cooling.......it just depends on heaps of things, it might be worse/might be better for you ;)

Here are two reviews of the case...

Well P180 wasnt what Antec claimed to be, it much the same as other standard cases. It good review that made my decision that P180 is not worthy to get so I will wait a few months to decide which case with window side panel, maybe the P160. :)

why do you say its its not worthy?

I was thought about get one because Antec said P180 is a revolutionary case with breakthrough design that make it the most quietest and lowest temp case. According to the revews tests, P180 is no different to other cases with noise, no change on CPU temp, GPU and hard drive temp are higher because the power supply placed at the bottom, if it placed at the top, the power supply fan will help lower the GPU and hard drives temp and also P180 is time consuming task. It not worth get one, it better get standard design cases that will do less time consuming task.

well, we will just have to see when mine comes..

EDIT: also if you say that case doesnt cool well, your out of your mind. If you read the Part 2 review, they have a passively cooled 3.6GHz Preshott @ 3.8GHz, and that case keeps it nice and cool.

EDIT: also you must have missed this part..

"The bulk of the testing in the P180 was done with just one of the provided 120mm TriCool fans on Low, with very good results. One can imagine the level of cooling that is available if both fans are brought into play at mid or high speed, although this configuration would not be quiet."

Was on IRC when Roadhog was mentioning this to someone who just bought a P160. :D Yeah, it looks like a good deal. A little small (I'm gathering based on the number of drive bays) for what I'd be looking for, but a good deal nonetheless...

I just bought the 160, I might have to return it and get this one instead :)

 The real question here, would you want to rebuild your computer so soon, if you plan on doing some massive upgrades come next April or so?

Yes same one in SLK3000B case too.

My Suntek Viper case without window panel, it produced excellent air flow for cooling even much better than SLK3000B case and slient sound, it doesnt have any case fans in it.

I looked through the review again and found much more balance and fairer numbers. P180's weakness is GPU temp and SLK3000B weakness is CPU temp, so which one is worse off? I added all the temps figures in all tests to make up the total, P180 GPU test came up 55c worse off than SLK3000B and SLK3000B CPU temp came up 19c worsen off than P180, so still P180 are 39c worse off in case's CPU and GPU area.
