Really bad FPS in COD:UO - 6800GT ?

Hi People,
I have a 6800GT (256MB) card - so far I'm quite happy with it.
Along with the rest of my system: AMD +2500 XP, and 1GB DDR RAM I get just past the 5K - in 3Dmark 2005.

However, when I try to play COD:UO @1024*768 - with all in game settings on high and 4AA/16AF - I get really low FPS: between 10-30 (Vsync is off).

When I set everything to app preference (AA/AF) I still get very low and jerky frame-rate. Other games, like HL2/D3 work very smooth...

This may be related to the fact that I run the game with EAX3 sound, but I have an Audigy 2 ZS card, with the latest drivers that again works fine in other games..

I just don't get it, I should be seeing FPS into the 100's...

I agree that it's probably the EAX ****... I tried and even EAX2 gives me low FPS...

What's the bloody point of buying an "Audigy 2 ZS"?
everyone told me, wait till you hear COD on 5.1 audio, so well, it sounds nice, but runs like ****?

Isn't there any possible tweak or anything we can do?

I couldnt find a soulution yet .. even on dual 7800GTXs i can barely play the game @1600x1200 with all settingd maxed. usually framerate is in 50-90s yes but the slowdowns are there & they annoy the hell out of me. :thumbdwn:

i hope COD2 dosent suffer the same problem :|

If you can't run it properly (with EAX3?), than what hope do we have...?

What settings (AA/AF) do you people run Cod:UO?
