Well im going from a 6600GT that scores over 4000 when overclocked with custom cooling, to a 6800Nu. I know that brands are similar, but i would like one that can be taken to very high speeds. I know the top speed on my leadtek 6600GT for memory was 1197 and it couldt do 1mhz above it. So my choices would be as follows...

Gigabyte
Asus
Leadtek
MSI

Also i heard about the unlocking of it to 16/6 so suggest me if any of them have a higher chance to do so.

Thanx

Even though I've got a gigabyte one, I wouldn't recommend it for you, as it's fanless. The fact that it has no active cooling would (I guess) significantly reduce overclockability.

Leadtek has a nice cooling system. Giga is meh cuz of the heatpipe, MSI usually has good quality cards but nothing special there and Asus is kind of the same. I'd go for Leadtek probably, I know lotsa ppl with em who unlocked aswell. But you gotta know that unlocking is absolutely unpredictable and anything is possible... especially with new cards.

I have a Leadtek 6800nu and I have had no problems with it at all. I was also successful with unlocking it and have it overclocked to 350/780

Clay just did a review on the MSI 6800's in SLi. Overclocked very well both individually and together. Of course, the cards were PCI-e but agp should be about the same.

Id get the msi 6800 (the ones that clay reviewed), although i think its only pci-e. The overclocking abilities on those are really good considering its built on the TSMC 0.11 micron process technology.

Leadtek or BFG.

Leadtek for awesome cooling out of the box, or BFG for awesome warranty. Both should have 2.2ns RAM too, so you might even reach 900+ MHz with some slight memory timing adjustments.

Can you sell the 6600 GT well. This really isn't much of an upgrade. You should go for a 6800GT or you wont notice much performance gain.

It depends. If he can unlock it to 16x1/6vp and go 400+ core / 900+ memory it'll be a very nice improvement over the 6600 GT. In fact, it would be just as fast as the 6800 Ultra at lower resolutions.

You just can't go wrong with Leadtek
I'm doing 400/900 on mine and some people are doing even more.
