Hi out there,

As I said before, Im a nvidia noob, and habe no idea about the difference between the grafic divers.
So if there are some cracks out there, who really know what they are talking about, Id appreciate a little help on deciding which driver to install, and especially why to choose a certain driver.

Finally the most important thing:
Fx 55
Gigabyte 939
Aopen 6800 U AGP

So long, hope to get some answers,

Medmex

If you are a newbie and want the most feature rich, stable driver. The 77.72 are a good choice. If those do not work out for you. Consider the n71.89 drivers. The main reason to use random beta drivers is for new features, performance enhancements or the unusual bug fix which it seems you'll unlikely need.

agreed. 77.72 is the way to go for trouble-free gaming.

the newer ones are for those of us that like "newest and greatest" (although the word greatest doesnt always apply.) :)

77.72 WHQL gets my vote as well!
So far, it's been very stable, with good performance and IQ.
I would not recommend messing with the beta drivers until you get a bit more familar with Nvidia drivers.
