Hi,
I know that a lot of effort has gone into providing directx/direct3d support for windows games running in linux using wine, by writing direct3d libraries which translate requests into opengl library calls. (in particular see http://www.transgaming.com )
But nvidia already has direct3d libraries for their windows drivers, right? What are the chances of nvidia releasing direct3d libraries with their linux drivers which can be used by wine? Surely these would be vastly superior to the (incomplete) translation-to-opengl layer from transgaming?
Luke.
