I have this problem that almost all the games I start up become red, there isn't any colors than red, and the graphic is lagging...
I have a geforce fx 5700 and I have tryed to update the driver, but it didn't seem to help...
Does anybody know the problem and how to fix it...?
what games are you having problems with (and what games dont have problems)? and what drivers have you tried?

I have installed Detonator 52.14 and the WMD Driver V1.27, from the CD which follow with the graphiccard. Then I only have tryed 77.72...
The problem is in fx. War craft 3, Airport tycoon 3, The sims, any kind of games whit a little graphic... The games i can play is little figther 2, Mario worlds, casino, or other very small games. and the WMD Driver V1.27.
have you tried installing forceware drivers?

Yes, the 77.72 was a ForceWare driver from NVidia's homepage.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_77.72.html (that's the one I tryed).

I also tryed an older ForceWare driver (61.82) I found from google, and for a second I thought it worked with this one, but then again my games became red and blurred...
maybe its your gfx card. when did this start happening?

About few days ago...
hmmm i dunno
have you been overclocking your card? or installed any new drivers besides the gfx card like chipset or something. Maybe your direct x is screwed or something. try reinstalling directx

No I haven't been overclocking the graphiccard, but I am having some troubles with my RAID-controller (VIA bus master IDE driver). I have lost the disc with this driver, I don't know if that could could end up to be the answer of the problem. But I have no idear, where to find such a driver...

Hi,
For VIA related drivers, go to www.viaarena.com, and click on the drivers link.
have you installed VIA's agp gart drivers?
Lagging may be the problem of no agp gart drivers.
