I was playin bf2 when i got kicked out of the game to come to this on my desktop, right before it rebooted.. this has happened a few times.. I have windows xp sp2 and avg free antivirus software and the firewall up.. I cant think of what it might be..

Hmm scary if you got SP2 + Firewall + antivirus , and still get infected :eek:
Did it happen only while playing BF2 ? might be just nasty game bugs.
BTW your desktop is a mess so many icons :p
sasser worm
clean it using trend micro...
then get windows critical updates at microsoft.com
Have you had AVG (or another AV) running ever since you installed Windows XP? Have you kept it updated? I find it quite odd you could get the sasser worm with AV running. Sasser worm is well known and should be detectable.

Yeah, practically any software should be recognizing Sasser now... You might try another AV package, but this virus is rather old...
BTW, I'm having a lot of trouble reading the dialog box on there, so I'm taking other people's word on what it is saying...

I just get this when i boot up now. yah i have avg free anti virus too.. sucks.. it did it again

help.. im still getting this.. but once in a blue moon.. i had avg free ever since my lasst reformat install, ran trend micro, ad-aware, and up to date on all win updates...

I know I had a rather largeish update for AVG when I booted up after work ( not more than 20 Minutes ago ) maybe some variant going around?
