Are these monitors any good?
I can get one local pretty damn cheap ($159), I noticed that it does 1280x1024@75Hz with a 12ms response time.
So what do you think? Should I get it?

I have it and I am satisfied with it. I play Battlefield 2 and Enemy Territory online and I see no ghosting. Just finished playing Knights Of The Old Republic and Battle For Middle Earth last month and those games looked good on my monitor. DVD movies look good and no ghosting during fast action. Reading text is pretty clear also. There no DVI connection though, but I hear you don't need DVI till you are at 1600x1200 resolution. Since max res on this monotor is 1280x1024, DVI is not needed. I guess thats why Samsung elected to go with D-Sub connection for this model. At that price its a steal cause I payed over $400 for it last year.

For that price, absolutely. Solid quality panel, great response time. Only thing is there's no DVI, but that's really a minor issue. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

i have a 710N, and I couldnt be happier with it. :D
I had the 712N prior to this 2005fpw. It is an outstanding monitor and that is an outstanding price. I would get two if I were you and run dual monitor.
