Hey guys, I have 2 5.25 Front Bays on a SFF that I wanna buy, I will only be using 1 of them so I want to put somekind of a LCD Display in the second 5.25 bay. Can someone recommend me one. It doesn't have to be a fan controller, although a temp display I wouldn't mind. I'd like it to be black and have blue light. Nothing special really, just so it dresses up the case more and also not too expensive please. Thanks for any help.

Not sure what your price range is...but one of our reviewers is working on a review of the Matrix Orbital MX412 provided by CrazyPC.com (http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=9010&Category_Code=). He told me that it's one of the coolest things he's worked with and upgraded his PC with in years.

Heh I think that says it takes up 2 bays, and I only have room for 1 bay. And yeah, a little out of my price range im looking for something $30 range. I mean I don't really care what it does, I just want it to look cool. I don't like having empty spaces.

Ah, my fault. I knew you said you had a SFF case too. I'm doing too many things at once. :)

I have the Cooler Master Aerogate II and I like it a lot, you can find it in either silver or black and the display lights up blue..the knob is able to change between a few different colors. Its a fan controller and monitors temps as well. I provided a link below to one of the many places you can find it.

You should try this: http://www.crystalfontz.com/products/632usb/index.html

This will fit in one 5 1/4 drive and looks great, it also is Gnu/Linux compatable, with lcdproc, or lcd4linux. I have this model, and it looks great, the software is great as well, it might be a little more expensive but its worth it. It does more than just read the temps, if you use mbm5 the software for windows can tell you almost anything, they also have some cool plugins such as winamp, other cool features.

Well I decided to get the Aerogate, I'll have 1-2 fans that I'd like to control anyways. I just hope it drops in price a bit when Ill be buying it.

Thanks Gnu those LCDs were great but a bit overpriced for me, and I couldnt find one with black and blue LED. Thank though.

I impulse-bought a Crystalfontz on a close-out a while back and couldn't be happier. I'd buy from them again in a second.

The cuztomization is fantastic; you can make your own Crystalfontz modules to display whatever info you want. However, the included software modules cover everything I need, from Winamp to MBM, from RAM useage to remining HD space.

And, um, I ripped the cable connector clean off the PCB on assembly, and Crystalfontz fixed it abolutely free--I paid only to ship it back to them.
